When Life Seems Jolly Rotten, There's Something You've Forgotten, And That's to Laugh and Smile and Dance and SingImagine a road lined with people on crosses, all singing that song. Hahahaha, that gets me every time.

Yesterday was my first anniversary!  I love my wife.

I have a lot of music on my computer and ipod that I don't know about because I've gotten so much stuff from my brothers and some friends.  And there's no way I've listened to everything I have.  So I had it playing on random today, and heard a song I liked but didn't recognize.  When I checked to see what it was, I saw that I had a bunch of stuff by this same group.  Their name is Gaelic Storm, and they're great!  They play a bunch of lively, fast-paced Irish music.  They're the kind of group that when you listen to their music you can't help but think that they have a great live show.  The more I think about it, the more I think I got it from my brothers.  The name sounds familiar.  If you want to hear some of their music, ask Chase or Bryce.  They probably have it.  In any case, I'll get to the point.  I got online and started loading pages while I worked.  About 15 min later (because my connection is so slow) I found my way to their web page and took a look at their touring schedule.  Where do you think I found out they're playing?  Annapolis.  That's right, at Ram's Head, downtown, July 1st and 2nd.  Some of you (21+)had better go and see them.  I bet they have a great show and I want to hear about it.  I would go in a heartbeat if I weren't 12 timezones away.

Quantum materiae materietur marmota monax si marmota monax materiam possit materiari?

I've just typed up and sent out an email update on my deployment so far.  If you didn't get a copy, and know me well enough to be interested in reading it, then you either know my wife, or some of my family.  Email one of them for a copy.  Then email me and I'll add you to my mailing list.  Sorry if this seems roundabout, but I don't want to broadcast my work email account over the web.  I intend to write them periodically, and send them out over email as the primary means of transmission, since internet connectivity on my ship is by no means regular.  I will probably continue to post random things here too.  I hope to hear from you.
